FISI
The Italian ski team has confirmed Skipass as the starting point for their race season, thanks to a decade-long friendship with FISI, the Federazione Italiana Sport Invernali. Inside the great stand set up in the heart of the fair area, team members from the various disciplines will take turns. A series of events, autograph and selfie sessions will mark out the days in Modena presided over by the Federation, which will provide information on how to become a member and on the advantages of joining the great FISI family.
Four days of celebration, all leading up to the traditional Festa degli Azzurri, foreseen for Friday 1st November, and the election of FISI Athlete of the Year 2019, awarded over the last two years to the Olympic champion Sofia Goggia. In the year that the 2026 Winter Olympics have been assigned to Milan-Cortina, the FISI is also preparing to celebrate the centenary of its foundation: 2020 will be a unique year for the Federation, which has already begun to celebrate this special date with a public call for tender for the creation of a customised logo, dedicated to the first 100 years of the FISI. The tender winner will receive the commission right here in Skipass.
