FIS Snowboard and Freeski Big Air World Cup 2019 Modena
Skipass Big Air, the spectacle of the FIS World Cup returns to Skipass
For the second year running, Skipass is the protagonist of the international races of the FIS circuit, hosting the only Italian stage of the FIS Big Air World Cup. Over the four days in which the Salone is open, Modena will be transformed into the world capital of freeski and snowboard. A major reconfirmation after the huge success of the last edition, and the first inside ModenaFiere. For the occasion, the external area of the fair will be transformed into the stage presenting some of the finest international athletes in the fields of freeski and snowboard, who will challenge one another on the largest slope ever to be constructed in Italy. A great number of champions are due to make their appearance in Modena: Olympic medal winners, world champions and World Cup winners are ready to duel with a wide range of tricks, evolutions and impossible acrobatics. Snowboard will be the first up, with qualifications and competitions on Saturday 2 November, while Sunday 3 November will be given over to freeski. The Modena stage will be the second scheduled for the 2019/2020 season, after the opening event in Cardrona, New Zealand, on 24-25 August 2019.
